JHB Online International PechaKucha Evening with a Powerhouse of Women!

Heather Hook, Helen Desbois, Kimberleigh Stark, Arthie Moore, Vilochanee Naidoo & Colleen McAusland Team up for Women’s Month!

Join the first-ever Johannesburg Online International PechaKucha Evening with a Powerhouse of Women!

The first-ever PechaKucha event will take place on Thursday 06 August 2020. With August being Women’s Month, we have female speakers from all over the world sharing the difference they make in their world for this Women’s Day event. With amazing prizes to win on the night from the Sorbet Group and iSkin Aesthetics worth over R15 000, plus books from our authors, this event is not to be missed!

Some history about PechaKucha and how it works:

PechaKucha’s 20×20 presentation format shows your 20 chosen images, each for 20 seconds and all is set on a timer. In other words, you’ve got 400 seconds to tell your story, with visuals guiding the way. PechaKucha means “chit chat” in Japanese. This creative outlet began as night-time get-togethers in Tokyo in 2003 by two renowned architects. Since then, three million people have attended PechaKucha events worldwide.
