Join the first-ever PechaKucha Johannesburg Online International Event on Thursday 06 August 2020. With August being Women’s Month, we have female speakers from all over the world sharing the difference they make in their world for this Women’s Day event. With amazing prizes to win on the night from the Sorbet Group and iSkin Aesthetics worth over R15 000, plus books from our authors, this event is not to be missed!
Some history about PechaKucha and how it works:
PechaKucha’s 20×20 presentation format shows your 20 chosen images, each for 20 seconds and all is set on a timer. In other words, you’ve got 400 seconds to tell your story, with visuals guiding the way. PechaKucha means “chit chat” in Japanese. This creative outlet began as night-time get-togethers in Tokyo in 2003 by two renowned architects. Since then, three million people have attended PechaKucha events worldwide. Click here to see examples of other events in Johannesburg: https://www.pechakucha.com/cities/johannesburg.
